 Misal Pav



Misal Pav is a popular dish from Maharashtra , india. It consists of misal and pav. The final dish is topped with farsan or sev , onions,  lemon  and coriander. It is usually served with bread or pav.

INGREDIENTS

FOR PRESSURE COOKER

➡️ 2 cup moth beans/ matki sprouts

➡️ 1/2 tablespoon turmeric powder

➡️ A pinch of hing

➡️ 1 cup of water

FOR MASALA PASTE

➡️ 1 big chopped onion

➡️ 1 big chopped tomato

➡️ 4-5 Garlic cloves

➡️ 1/4 cup dry coconut

➡️ 1/2  inch ginger

➡️ 4-6 green chillies

➡️ 1/2 tablespoon oil


INGREDIENTS FOR TADKA

➡️ 1/2 tsp mustard seeds

➡️ 1/2 tsp cumin seeds

➡️ 1/6 tsp hing

➡️ 12-15 curry leaves

➡️ 1 tablespoon coriander powder

➡️ 1 tablespoon red chilli powder

➡️ 1 tablespoon garam masala/ goda masala

➡️ 2 tablespoon oil

➡️ 1/4 tablespoon turmeric powder

➡️ 4 cup of water/ or as needed

➡️ Small piece of jaggery


OTHER INGREDIENTS FOR SERVING

➡️ 1/2 lemon 

➡️ 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves

➡️ 1 finally chopped onion

➡️ 2 cup farsan



STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS TO COOK


↔️ Bring a pressure cooker add matki, hing ,water and turmeric powder in it. 
Bring this pressure cooker on the stove at medium flame. After one whistle switch off the flame. Keep this stuff aside.

↔️ Bring a pan on the stove at medium flame. Add 1/2 tablespoon of oil in it. When oil starts heated up then add all ingredients which wass prepare for paste. Fry for 2-3 minutes , then switch off the stove. Make paste from this stuff after it become cool.

↔️ Now bring another pan ,add 2 tablespoon of oil in it at medium flame. When oil starts heated up then add mustard seeds  after few seconds add cumin seeds and hing in it. 

↔️ Then add curry leaves in it. After that add coriander powder,red chilli powder ,goda masala turmeric powder in it. Stir for seconds then add prepare paste in it.


↔️ Saute all stuff for 2-3 minutes. Then add matki in it. Add jaggery and salt in it . Add 4 cup of water in it and check the consistency.

↔️ Cover the pan and boil for 10 minutes or cooked till misal cooked completely. Now switch off the flame.

↔️Misal is ready to be served.

↔️ In a serving plate, add misal and  some farsan over it.

↔️ Top with coriander leaves and chopped onion over it.

↔️ Finally serve misal with pav and lemon .

Hakka Noodles

 

Hakka noodles is a Chinese preperation where boiled noodles are stir fried with vegetables or meat.

Hakka cuisine is the cooking style of Hakka people


. Preperation time - 10 minutes

. Cooking time - 20 minutes

. Served to - 2 person


Ingredients

. 400 gm Noodles
. 2 medium sized carrot strips
. 2 medium sized capsicum strips
. 1 bowl chopped cabbage
. 1 bowl chopped spring onions
. 1 tablespoon seseme oil
.  1 tablespoon vinegar
. 1 tablespoon soya sauce
. Salt as needed

Preparation

. Bring all chopped vegetables in a plate.




. Bring a pan with 1 liter of water at the stove. When water starts to boil then add noodles in it. Add 1/4 tablespoon of oil in it . Boil for 5-6 minutes. 


. Then switch off the flame. Seperate noodles from water. keep them on a plate. Noodles should be seperate.

. Bring a pan, add oil in it at medium flame. When oil starts heated up then add 1/2 bowl spring onions then add carrot, capsicum and cabbage in it. Fry for 1-2 minutes. 



. Now add boiled noodles in it. Add vinegar,soya sauce and salt in it. Mix all the stuff properly. 

. Then switch off the flame. Add 1/2 bowl spring onions in it. Now Hakka noodles are ready to be served.

Immunity booster drink ' Kadha' made from natural ingredients . It helps us to boost our immune system. It is made from spices like black pepper, cloves, cinnamon,thyme. 

How to Make ' Kadha'

Total time - 5-7 minutes

Serve to - 2 person


Ingredients

. 1/4 tablespoon black pepper powder
. 1/4 tablespoon cinnamon powder
. 1/4 tablespoon thyme ( Ajwain)
. 3-4 cloves 
. 1/2 tablespoon lemon grass
. 7-8 basil leaves
. Jaggery ( as needed)
. Lemon ( as needed)/
. 1/2 tablespoon crushed ginger
. 2.5 cup of water


Step by step process to make 'kadha'-

. Bring water in a pan at medium flame. When water starts boiling then add lemon grass after few seconds add all spices powder in it . Then add basil leaves, ginger in it . Boil all ingredients properly.
. Now add jaggery in it. Boil for seconds. Then switch off the stove.
. Now add lemon in it.
. Now sieve off liquid . Kadha' is ready to be served.

White sauce cheesy pasta

White sauce cheesy pasta is a famous Italian dish.  It is very simple to cook. 


Total time - 25-30 minutes

Total serving - 4-5 person


Ingredients

. 400 gm penne pasta
. 2 cup milk
. 2 tablespoon liquid cheese
. 2 tablespoon white flour
. 1/2 tablespoon Italian herb
. 1/2 tablespoon chilli flakes
. 1/2 tablespoon purified butter/ ghee
. Salt as needed


. How to cook white sauce cheesy pasta

. Step by step instructions

. Bring  sufficient water in a pan for boiling the pasta. When pasta get soft then rinse off from water.
. Now bring butter in a pan at low flame ,when butter gets heated then add white flour in it ,fry for 2-3 minutes then add milk in it.
. Mix well both ingredients then add boiled pasta in it. Mix well ,then add salt ,herbs and chilli flakes or cheese in it. 
. Mix all stuff well. 
. Do all the process at medium or low flame.
. If pasta gets dry then add more milk in it. It should be creamy. Now switch off the gas.
. Now pasta is ready to be served.

Green Peas Curry

Green Peas gravy is very famous recipe in North India. It is prepare with green peas , potatoes and coriander leaves etc. This curry contains lots of nutritional value.

Preparation time - 10 minutes

Cook time - 25-30 minutes

Serve to - 7-8 person


Ingredients

. 1 bowl or 1/2 kg green peas
. 2 medium size potatoes ( chopped)
. 1 big tomato ( finely chopped)
. 6-7 green chillies
. 1/2 bowl coriander leaves
. 1 inch ginger
. 1 tablespoon cumin seeds
. 1/2 tablespoon black pepper
. 1/2 tablespoon turmeric powder
. 1/2 tablespoon fenugreek seeds
. 1.5 tablespoon mustard oil
. A pinch of Hing
. Salt as needed


How to Cook green peas curry

. Bring green peas in a bowl. Blend 400 gm green peas in a blender and keep 100 gm peas in a bowl.


. Now bring potatoes , tomatoes in a plate. Bring coriander leaves,ginger and green chillies in aplate.


 . Make a paste of ginger, chillies or coriander leaves and cumin seeds or black pepper. Keep in a bowl.

Step by step process to Cook

. Bring a pan on the stove add 1/2 tablespoon oil in it. When oil starts heated up then add hing in it. Now add blend peas in it. Stir this for 5-8 minutes at medium flame. Now add green peas in it which was in another bowl. Then switch off the gas. And keep this stuff in a plate.

 . Bring a pam on the stove,add 1 tablespoon oil in it. When oil starts heated up ,add fenugreek seeds in it. After 10 seconds add potatoes in it. Fry for 2-3 minutes. Then add blend coriander paste in it. Then add tomatoes , turmeric powder in it. Stir at medium flame for 5-7 minutes then add fried peas in it. Now add 2-3 glass of water and salt in it. Then cover up the pan for 5-7 minutes.




 . Then switch off the gas . Curry is ready to be served . Serve with rice or indian bread.

Mix Veggies Curry

Ingredients

. 2 medium size potatoes ( chopped)
. 1 bowl cabbage ( chopped)
. 1 bowl beans ( chopped)
. 1 big carrot ( chopped)
. 1 capsicum ( chopped)
. 3 medium size tomatoes ( chopped)
. 4-5 green chillies chopped
. A pinch of Hing
. 1 tablespoon turmeric powder
. 1 tablespoon red chilli powder
. 1 tablespoon dry coriander powder
. 1 tablespoon garam masala powder
. 1/2 tablespoon cumin seeds
. Salt as needed
. Coriender leaves ( to garnish)
. 1 tablespoon mustard oil


How to Cook Mix Veggies Curry

. Bring all chopped vegetables at one place.

 . Bring a pan add oil in it. When oil starts heated up,add cumin seeds and hing in it. After few seconds add green chillies in it. Then add potatoes in it. Cook for 3-4 minutes. Then add carrots in it.
 . Mix all the stuff properly. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
 . Then add cabbage, beans ,capsicumin it. Mix properly all the stuff.
 . Now add tomatoes in it. Add turmeric powder,red chilli powder, coriander powder and garam masala and salt in it. Mix well. Now cover up the pan for 7-8 minutes. After that open the pan check all veggies cooked well or not. If not then cover for 2-3 minutes. Now curry is ready to be served. Serve with Puri, chapati or Parathas.

Potato Curry( Aloo Rasedar) Puri Bhaji

Potato Curry

It's a north Indian recipe. It's very delicious curry and easy to cook. 

Preparation time - 10 minutes

Cook time - 15 minutes

Serve to - 4 person


Ingredients

. 4 boiled potatoes 
. 3-4 medium size tomato
. 1 inch ginger
. 4-5 green chillies
. Coriender leaves ( for garnish)
. 1 tablespoon red chilli powder
. 1/2 tablespoon turmeric powder
. 1 tablespoon coriander powder
. 1/2 tablespoon garam masala
. 1/2 tablespoon cumin seeds
. A pinch of Hing
. 1 tablespoon dry mango powder
. Salt as needed
. 1 tablespoon dry roast gram flour
. 1 tablespoon oil 


How to Cook potato Curry

. Bring dry roast gram flour and keep aside.
 . Bring tomatoes, green chillies,ginger in a blender. Blend properly and keep aside.
 . Bring boiled potatoes and peel them off. Chop them in 2-3 pieces.
 . Bring a pan on the stove add oil in it. When oil starts heated up add cumin seeds and hing in it. After ten seconds add blend tomato puree in it . Stir untill stuff leave the surface . Then add coriander powder, turmeric powder,red chilli powder and garam masala in it.
. Then stir all spices properly. Then add dry mango powder,salt in it. Stir for seconds. Then add potatoes in it. Mix well all the stuff.


. Now add 2 glass of water and gram flour in it. Now cover up the pan . Cook for 5-7 minutes. Now switch off the stove . Garnish with coriander leaves. Curry is ready to be served. Serve with Puri or Parathas.
