Ingredients
. 250 gm Chana dal (1 hour soaked)
. 3 medium tomatoes ( finely chopped)
. 4-5 green chillies (chopped)
. 2 medium size onion( chopped)
. 6-7 garlic cloves( chopped)
. Coriander leaves ( garnishing)
. 1 inch ginger
. 1 tablespoon Cumin seeds
. 1 tablespoon red chilli powder
. 1 tablespoon turmeric powder
. 1 tablespoon garam masala
. 1 tablespoon coriander powder
. Salt as needed
. 2 bay leaves
. 1 cardamon
How to cook
. Bring soaked Chana dal in a pressure cooker with one glass of water and a pinch salt after 3 whistle open pressure cooker and put Chana dal put them aside.
. Bring a pan add 2 tablespoon of oil when oil gets hot add cumin seeds ,bay leaves, cardamom when all ingredients gets sizzle add chopped onion , green chillies stir untill color of onion become golden then add tomatos (chopped) saute them,now add garam masala,red chilli powder,coriender powder,turmeric powder,and salt mix well now add Chana dal mix well cover the pan for two minutes.Now Chana dal tadka veg is prepare to serve.garnish with coriender leaves.We can serve with chapati,paratha ,roti.
