Onion tomato rava uttapam(uttapa)

About

Uttapam is a South Indian cuisine and a very healthy breakfast.We can make uttapam in many ways, and I'm demonstrating one of the stylish ways to cook the same.

Health benefits:


. It conatains tomato,onion,chilli and coriander leaves , all of which are beneficial for health.

How to make uttapam at home-

Preparation time- 10 minutes

Cook time-10 minute

 Served to - 3-4 person

Ingredients

. Rava (suji)250 gm
. 2 medium size onion (finely chopped)
. 1 big tomato( finely chopped)
. 2 tablespoon curd
. 3-4 green chillies (finely chopped)
. 2 tablespoon coriander leaves ( finely chopped)
. Salt as needed
. 2 tablespoon butter or oil

Preparation-

. Bring rava(suji) in a pan soaked for five minutes.Then add tomato,onion, chillies,coriender leaves ,curd and salt in it mix them well.Add 1/2 cup of water and  mix properly.






Process to cook

Step 1

. Bring a dosa tava on gas and when its gets hot then spread a little bit butter on tava.

Step 2

. Bring one bowl of already mixture on tava and Spread it in round shape on tava. The shape should neither very thick nor very thin.  The stove should on medium stove.After 3-4 minutes tava leaves surface of mixture ,add some butter on one side after which we can flip the uttapam on other side,now spread butter on another side.


Step 3

. When color of surface will become golden it means that uttapam is ready to serve.We can serve it with tomato sauce or coconut Chaat.

Gulab jamun

Gulab jamun is a milk based sweet from the indian subcontinent, popular in India.

How to make gulab jamun at home

Preparation time -30 minutes

Cook time- 20 minutes

Total time- 50 minutes

Total serving- 15 person

Course- dessert


Ingredients

. Gitz gulab jamun powder(250gm)
. Sugar 1/2kg
. Milk (1 glass)
. 2 small cardamom
. 1/2 liter vegetable oil 

Preparation

. Bring 5 glass of water in a pan add 1/2 kg sugar in it put this mixture in medium stove for half an hour liquid will become sugar syrup,now off the stove put sugar syrup aside,add Cardamom in this syrup.


. Bring a plate add gulab jamun powder add milk in less quantity then mix well then add milk again mix with hands properly like wheat flour.Do not put for long time make balls from flour quickly.

How to cook

. Bring vegetable oil in a pan heat oil in medium stove, do not heat too much it should be on temperature of 250-300 degree celsious.
. Now make balls quickly add in oil at slow stove.



. Cook balls properly ,balls should be cook probably from inside now separate balls from oil and add in sugar syrup.Now gulab jamun is ready to serve.

. Garlic contains compounds with potent medicinal properties,garlic is highly nutritions but has very few calories ,it improves cholesterol levels,which may lower the risk of heart disease.

How to make burnt garlic veg rice-

Preparation time- 10 minutes

Cook time- 10 minutes

Total time-20 minutes

Total serving - 4 person

Ingradients

. 500 gm rice(cooked)
. 1 capsicum ( finely chopped)
. 1 carrot (finely chopped)
. 1 inch ginger ( finely chopped)
. 3-4 green chillies ( finely chopped)
. 3 tablespoon spring onion ( chopped)
. 20 garlic cloves ( chopped)
. 1 tablespoon soya sauce ( optional)
. 1 tablespoon veniger (optional)
. 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
. Salt as needed
. Crushed black pepper

Step 1

. Bring cooked rice and chopped vegetables put aside.




Step 2

. Now bring a pan add one tablespoon of oil when oil gets hot add ginger stir untill light brown now add carrot and capsicum green chillies in it stir for two minutes at medium stove now add spring onion and rice in it now add salt and veniger and soya sauce in it mix well,now close the stove put aside,add crushed black pepper.



Step 3

. Now we will bring a pan with one tablespoon of oil when oil gets hot add all garlic cloves in it at slow stove when garlic gets golden separate garlic from oil and add in veg fried rice mixture.Now burnt garlic veg rice is ready to serve.

Sponge gourd (luffa) do pyaza

Luffa do pyaza-

Luffa do pyaza is a curry made with some masala twists.It is famous in North Indian curry,Do pyaza is very delicious and quick recipe.

About-

Sponge gourd (luffa) is quite lower in immeresed fats as well as calories.It contains high amounts of dietary fiber,some of the health preferences linked to the sponge gourd apperas beneath.It is a blood purifier.

How to prepare for luffa do pyaza-

Ingradients

. 5-6 luffa (sponge gourd)
. 1 potato ( medium size chopped)
. 3-4 medium size onion ( chopped)
. Garlic 14-15 cloves
. Ginger 1 inch ( crushed)
. 2 medium size tomatoes ( finely chopped)
. 3-4 green chillies
. 1.5 tablespoon of mustard oil
. 1 tablespoon cumin seeds
. 1 tablespoon black pepper
. 2-3 cloves
. 1 cinnamon
. 1 star
. 2 bay leaves
. 2  dry red chilli
. 1 tablespoon red chilli powder
. 1/2 tablespoon turmeric powder
. 1 tablespoon dry coriander powder
. Salt as needed
. Coriender leaves ( for garnishing)


Preparation time -10 minutes

Cook time - 15 minutes

Total time- 25 minutes

Total Serving-4 person


Preparation

. Bring luffa peel off them and cut in round shape, bring potato peel off cut in medium size clean with water so dirt will remove put them aside in water.
. Bring onion,green chillies ,garlic,ginger in one plate keep aside.bring spices and tomatos aside.



. Bring a pressure cooker add mutard oil when oil gets hot add all spices,red chilli in it after ten seconds add ginger when ginger gets light golden add onion , garlic in it stir untill onion gets soft and color of onion become light golden.

. Now add luffa and potato in it now stir for 2 minutes,add turmeric power,red chilli powder, coriander powder in it stir and mix all ,now add tomato and salt in it mix well close the pressure cooker after 2 whistle close the stove now open the cooker luffa do pyaza is ready to serve, garnish with coriender leaves. Serve with rice,chapati,bread,naan.

Tapioca(Sabudana) khichadi

It is also known as tapioca and sago.Sago is a favourite breakfast and evening snak option in indian household.

How to cook sabudana khichdi-

Preparation time -15 minutes

Cook time -10 minutes
Serve- 4 person

Ingradients

. Sago (sabudana)1.5 cup(250gm)
. Peanuts (100gm)
. Green chilli (3-4 finely chopped)
. Curry leaves (4-5)
. 1/2 tablespoon Cumin seeds
. 1 tablespoon ghee
. 1 big potato (chopped)
. Salt as needed
. Coriender leaves ( garnishing)
. 1/2 tablespoon red chilli powder

Preparation-

.Wash the sago ,drain and keep aside with little quantity for about 4 hours .
. Now bring a pan roast peanuts put aside when it's get cold separate cover of peanuts and grind for seconds.

How to cook

. Bring a pan add ghee when ghee gets hot add cumin seeds when Cumin seeds become light golden add green chilli,curry leaves now add chopped potatoes fry well untill potatoes cook.Now add sago in it mix well at medium stove.









. Now add red chilli powder and salt ,cover the pan for 5-7 minutes now add peanuts in it mix well cook for 2 minutes close stove sabudana khichdi is ready to serve garnish with coriender 
leaves.
