Onion tomato rava uttapam(uttapa)

Uttapam is a South Indian cuisine and a very healthy breakfast.We can make uttapam in many ways, and I'm demonstrating one of the stylish ways to cook the same.

Health benefits:


. It conatains tomato,onion,chilli and coriander leaves , all of which are beneficial for health.

How to make uttapam at home-

Preparation time- 10 minutes

Cook time-10 minute

 Served to - 3-4 person

Ingredients

. Rava (suji)250 gm
. 2 medium size onion (finely chopped)
. 1 big tomato( finely chopped)
. 2 tablespoon curd
. 3-4 green chillies (finely chopped)
. 2 tablespoon coriander leaves ( finely chopped)
. Salt as needed
. 2 tablespoon butter or oil

Preparation-

. Bring rava(suji) in a pan soaked for five minutes.Then add tomato,onion, chillies,coriender leaves ,curd and salt in it mix them well.Add 1/2 cup of water and  mix properly.






Process to cook

Step 1

. Bring a dosa tava on gas and when its gets hot then spread a little bit butter on tava.

Step 2

. Bring one bowl of already mixture on tava and Spread it in round shape on tava. The shape should neither very thick nor very thin.  The stove should on medium stove.After 3-4 minutes tava leaves surface of mixture ,add some butter on one side after which we can flip the uttapam on other side,now spread butter on another side.


Step 3

. When color of surface will become golden it means that uttapam is ready to serve.We can serve it with tomato sauce or coconut Chaat.
