Soyabean Chunks Aloo(potato) gravy curry

Soyabean  Chunks ,Aloo is a healthy North indian curry.It is made with paste of onion ,ginger and garlic, with some garam masala twists.Easy to cook and delicious in taste.

How to Cook soyabean Chunks and potatoe curry

Preparation time- 10 minutes

Cook time- 20 minutes

Served to - 3-4 person

Ingredients

. 1 bowl soya chunks(20 minutes soaked)
. 2 potatoes
. 1 tomato ( finely chopped)
. 2 medium size onion ( chopped)
. 3-4 green chillies (chopped)
. 6-7 garlic cloves
. 1 tablespoon Cumin seeds
. 1 tablespoon dry coriander powder
. 8-10 black pepper
. 1 tablespoon garam masala
. 1/2 tablespoon turmeric powder
. 1/2 tablespoon red chilli powder
. Salt as needed
. 1.5 tablespoon mustard oil
. Coriender leaves (for garnishing)

Preparation

. Bring soaked soya chunks in a plate .Remove water from it.
. Now bring potatoes clean it and peel them off.Now chop potatoes like in given picture.

. Bring 1/2 chopped onion in one plate.
. Bring  1.5 onion ,garlic,ginger and cumin seeds,black pepper in blender.Blend them properly ,put them in one bowl.

 Step by step process to Cook

. Bring oil in a pan on stove.When oil heated up ,add pinch of salt in it.Add all soya chunks in it at medium flame.Now fry chunks untill it become light golden,now separate from oil.Fry potatoes in oil for 3-4 minutes.Put both ingredients in one plate.



. Now add a pinch of hing in oil,add 1/4 tablespoon cumin seeds in it.when seeds starts sizzle ,add  chopped onion and green chillies in it.Stir untill light golden.


. Now add paste in it ,stir that paste at medium flame.Stir untill color of onion become change.
. Now add chopped tomato in it.Fry for seconds after that we will add garam masala,turmeric powder, coriender powder,red chilli powder in it.Mix all stuff for 1-2 minutes at low flame.Now add chunks and potato in it ,mix well.

. Now add 1.5 bowl of water in it .Add salt ,mix everything properly.Cover up the pan for 5-7 minutes at medium flame.Now switch off the stove.
. Now curry is ready to serve. Garnish with coriender leaves .Serve with indian bread or rice.
