Poha is a dish which is known to be a healthy breakfast.But when we add vegetables in it,then the nutritional aspects will increase along with the taste aspect of it.
Poha is famous breakfast in Maharashtra and M.P.How to Cook Vegetables Poha
Preparation time-10-12 minutes
Cook time-15 minutes
Served to -2-3 person
Ingredients
. 200 gm poha(flattered Rice)
. 1 Big onion (finely chopped)
. 1 cup cabbage (finely chopped)
. 1 capsicum ( finely chopped)
. 8-10 curry leaves
. 3-4 green chillies ( finely chopped)
. 1 tablespoon lemon juice
. 1 carrot (finely chopped)
. Coriender leaves (for garnishing)
. 1 tablespoon turmeric powder
. 1/2 tablespoon mustard seeds
. 1/2 bowl roasted peanuts
. 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
. Sugar(1/2 tablespoon) or as needed
. Salt as needed
Preparation
. Bring all vegetables clean them so that dust and dirt will remove.Now chop vegetables and put in a plate.
. Bring flattered rice in a pan.soak and rinse them, then add sugar and salt in it.Rinse it till ,10 minutes before you cook.
. Bring roasted peanuts in a plate.
Step by step process to Cook Vegetables Poha
. Bring a pan on stove, add oil in it.When oil starts heated up ,add mustard seeds in it.When mustard seeds starts sizzle then add turmeric powder in it stir for seconds.Then add chopped onion and green chillies ,curry leaves in it.Stir them for 2-3 minutes at medium flame.
. Now onion will become soft and light golden.Then add cabbage, carrot in it.Stir for 1 minute then add capsicum in it.Mix all stuff well.Cook for 3-4 minutes at medium flame.
. After that we will see vegetables will be cooked.Then add soaked flattered rice in it ,mix well.Add 1 tablespoon lemon juice and roasted peanuts in it.Mix all stuff and cook for 2-3 minutes.Now vegetables Poha is ready to be served. Garnish with coriender leaves.
