How to make Malaysian tomato rice at home-
Preparation time -10 minutes
Cook time-20 minutes
Total time- 30 minutes
Ingredients
. 1 cup rice (250gm)( long grain rice optional)
. 3-4 medium size tomatoes ( finely chopped)
. 1/2 cup tomato purree
. 4-5 green chilli (chopped)
. 2 big size onion (finely chopped)
. 1 red chilli ( finely chopped)
. 7-8 garlic cloves ( chopped)
. Ginger 1 inch long ( chopped in slice)
. 2 cloves
. 1 cardmom
. 1 inch cinnamon
. 1 star
. 2 tablespoon ghee
. Salt as needed
. 1 tablespoon garam masala
. 1 tablespoon red chilli powder
. Coriender leaves ( for garnish)
. Parsley leaves( for garnish)
. Fried cashews ( for topping)

Step 1
. Bring rice soak and rinse that rice and put aside.
. Now bring pressure cooker add two tablespoon ghee in it when ghee gets hot add cinnamon ,cardamom,cloves and star stir them for seconds now add ginger when ginger gets light golden add garlic in it when garlic become golden add onion in it when onion become light golden add chopped tomatoes now saute them now add tomato purree in it stir for five minutes at medium stove ,add garam masala,red chilli powder,salt ,rice and 2.5 cup of water mix well close the pressure cooker,after 1 whistle open the pressure cooker.
. Now rice is ready to serve, topping with cashew nuts and garnish with red chillies,and coriander and parsley leaves.
