Kanda (onion)poha

Kande pohe-

Poha is light and healthy breakfast famous in Indore, Maharashtra and all over in India.It is very easy to cook .

How to cook kande pohe

Preparation time-5 minutes

Cook time- 10 minutes

Total servng-2 

Ingredients

. 250 gm pohe (flattered rice)
. 1/2 tablespoon sugar
. Salt as needed
. 1/2 tablespoon mustard seeds
. 1/2 tablespoon turmeric powder
. 6-7 fresh curry leaves
. 3-4 green chilli (chopped)
. 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
. 2 medium size onion ( finely chopped)
. Coriender leaves ( garnishing)
. 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Step 1

. Bring a pan and roast two tablespoon of penuts.


Step 1

. Bring flattered rice ( pohe)in a small pot rinse off pohe and put aside add sugar and salt in it.

Step 2

. Bring 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan when oil gets hot add mustard seeds in it when seeds starts sizzle then add chopped onion ,turmeric powder and green chilli,curry leaves in it stir at medium stove untill onion gets soft.


Step 3

. When onion gets soft and very light golden add pohe in it,mix well add lemon juice and roasted penuts cover pan for two minutes now open pan ,off the stove garnish with coriander leaves.Now kande pohe is ready to serve.

Malaysian tomato rice(veg)

Malaysian tomato rice

Malaysian tomato rice is Asian cuisine that is very famous.we can made for lunch or dinner,it is easy,healthy and tasty 

How to make Malaysian tomato rice at home-

Preparation time -10 minutes

Cook time-20 minutes

Total time- 30 minutes

Ingredients

. 1 cup rice (250gm)( long grain rice optional)
. 3-4 medium size tomatoes ( finely chopped)
. 1/2 cup tomato purree
. 4-5 green chilli (chopped)
. 2 big size onion (finely chopped)
. 1 red chilli ( finely chopped)
. 7-8 garlic cloves ( chopped)
. Ginger 1 inch long ( chopped in slice)
. 2 cloves
. 1 cardmom
. 1 inch cinnamon
. 1 star
. 2 tablespoon ghee
. Salt as needed
. 1 tablespoon garam masala
. 1 tablespoon red chilli powder
. Coriender leaves ( for garnish)
. Parsley leaves( for garnish)
 . Fried cashews ( for topping)







Step 1

. Bring rice soak and rinse that rice and put aside.
. Now bring pressure cooker add two tablespoon ghee in it when ghee gets hot add cinnamon ,cardamom,cloves and star stir them for seconds now add ginger when ginger gets light golden add garlic in it when garlic become golden add onion in it when onion become light golden add chopped tomatoes now saute them now add tomato purree in it stir for five minutes at medium stove ,add garam masala,red chilli powder,salt ,rice and 2.5 cup of water mix well close the pressure cooker,after 1 whistle open the pressure cooker.











. Now rice is ready to serve, topping with cashew nuts and garnish with red chillies,and coriander and parsley leaves.

Aloo (potatoes) samose

Samosa

About-

A samosa is a friend or baked dish with savoury filling,such as spiced potato,onions,peas,meat or lentils.It may take different forms,including triangular,cone or half moon shapes depending on region.

Type- snak

Preparation time - 25 minutes

Cook time- 20 minutes

Total time- 45 minutes

Total serving- 5-6 person

How to make samose at home-

Ingradients
. 6-7 medium size potatoes (boiled)
. 100 gm peas
. 7-8 green chillies ( chopped)
. Coriander leaves ( as needed)
. 400 gm all purpose flour
. 1 tablespoon dry coriander powder
. 1 tablespoon dry mango powder
. 1/2 tablespoon turmeric powder
. 1 tablespoon red chilli powder
. 1 tablespoon garam masala
. Salt as needed
. 1 tablespoon kasoori methi
. 1/2 liter oil ( fry samose)
. Nigella seeds( kalunji)
. Fennel seeds( sauf)
. 8-7 cashew(optional)
Process to make-

Step 1

. Bring potatoes in pressure cooker after 2 whistle open cooker ,peel off potatoes and mashed them put aside in a plate.

Step 2

. Bring all purpose flour in a plate add a pinch of salt ,1/2 tablespoon azwaien,and 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil,now knead it with warm water this knead should be dry .

Step 3

. Now take a steel pot take 2 tablespoon of oil when oil gets hot add ,nigella seeds,fennel seeds when seeds will start crackle then add green chilli, crushed ginger fry for seconds now add turmeric powder in it mix well add peas fry well,now add mashed potatoes in it mix all now add chilli powder,coriender powder,dry mango powder , salt,kasoori methi and garam masala mix all now stir them for 4-5 minutes now close the stove.all process we will do at medium stove.




  Step 4

. Bring a deep pan add 500 ml vegetable oil,heat oil in very low flame,bring a ball shape knead make them like chapati now cut from middle make shape in tringle add water from fingers to give shape in tringle,fill mixture of potatoes in it.see step by step process in pictures.







Step 5

. Now add 7-8 samose in medium heat oil,stove will be low in flame after 7-8 minutes turn samose up to down,it will take time to fry samose when color of samose become light golden then take it out from oil.Now samose is ready to serve , serve with green fry chilli,red sauce or green sauce.




Note- don't fry samose at high flame ,you can fry at low or medium flame.

How to make restaurant style mattar paneer-

Preparation time- 10 minutes

Cook time- 20-25 minutes

Ingradients 

. 250 gm paneer 
. 200 gm mattar
. 3 tomato (purree)
. 2 onion ( medium size) ( paste)
. 1 big onion (finely chopped)
. 6-7 green chillies ( chopped)
. 5 garlic cloves
. 1 inch ginger
. 1 tablespoon garam masala
. 1 tablespoon turmeric powder
. 1 tablespoon red chilli powder
. Salt as needed
. 1 tablespoon matar paneer masala(optional)
. 1 tablespoon of dry kasturi methi
. 1 tablespoon fresh cream( optional)
. 2 tablespoon of mustard oil
. 6-7 fried cashew

Process to make-

. Bring fresh paneer and cut in cubic shape.



. Bring a pan with 2 tablespoon of oil when oil gets hot add chopped onion ,chillis in it when color of onion become golden add onion paste,and ginger garlic paste in it stir in medium stove untill color of paste become Golden,now add tomatos paste in it stir for 6-7 minutes in medium stove when paste leave oil in surface then add turmeric powder,red chilli powder,and garam masala in it stir in medium stove.



. Now add fresh mattar in it mix well cover the pan for 2 minutes.Add 2 glass of water in it add paneer and kasturi methi and salt in it cover the pan for 5-7 minutes.Now close the stove add cashews and coriander leaves in it.



. Now paneer matar is ready to serve ,serve with chapati ,naan ,bread or rice.
